53-3-7. (Pre-1998 Probate Code) Effect of admission of legatee or executor prior to qualification


On the investigation of an issue of devisavit vel non, the admission of an executor before qualification or of a legatee, other than a sole legatee, shall not be admissible in evidence to impeach the will except where the admission is in reference to the conduct or acts of the executor or legatee himself concerning some matter relevant to the issue.
